WTVW Evansville:Â Woman Charged with DUI After Hitting Bicyclist

An Evansville man who was hit by a car on his bicycle Thursday night is still in the hospital and now the driver of the car has been arrested.
Evansville police say Stephanie Groves had a blood alcohol level of 0.085.
She also tested positive for marijuana.
Groves says she was driving west on Division Street around 9 when Anthony Reighard rode his bicycle out in front of her and she couldn’t avoid hitting him.
Reighard was taken to Saint Mary’s Medical enter with serious head injuries.
At last check, he was listed in fair condition.
