Carole Okolowicz has worked in the legal industry for nearly 20 years, mostly in plaintiff-side personal injury firms. For over a decade, Carole worked as a paralegal in firms representing catastrophically injured plaintiffs. Carole has been practicing law for over 5 years and is experienced in representing injured plaintiffs in cases involving bicycle accidents.
While in law school, Carole worked as a judicial intern on the Wisconsin Supreme Court, the highest court in that state. Carole grew up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and earned her undergraduate degree at the University of Wisconsin – Madison. She moved to San Francisco over 20 years ago and is still in awe of its beauty.
Carole’s happy place is on a bike. She has nearly 30 years of experience biking in urban environments in Madison, Chicago, and, since 2001, San Francisco. Her primary mode of transportation for most of her life has been by bicycle. Carole has been an active member of the San Francisco Bicycle Coalition for many years and has volunteered with SFBC as well as the East Bay Bicycle Coalition (now Bike East Bay). She has also endured her own physical injuries that have affected her ability to ride.
