KARE: Bicyclist Critically Injured in Collision With Vehicle
MINNEAPOLIS — A bicyclist was taken to North Memorial Hospital after colliding with a van in north Minneapolis.
Police say the 44-year-old cyclist was heading east on 42nd Avenue North just before midnight Monday night.
The man allegedly went through a red light at Lyndale Avenue and hit the van as it was going through the intersection.
The cyclist suffered critical injuries, according to Minneapolis Police.
The driver of the van was unharmed and was cooperating with police.
