The Lodi News-Sentinel: Bicyclist Struck On Elm Street

The driver of a silver Saturn clipped a bicyclist heading east on Elm Street before crashing into a telephone pole at the intersection of Elm Street and Ham Lane. According to Lodi Motor Officer Larry Vietz, witnesses said the driver of the Saturn had a green light while driving north on Elm Street through the intersection and struck the pole after trying to avoid the bicycle.
